I'm trying to get dorsum into the review game for y'all guys because I experience like I haven't washed them in a while. Truthfully, I'g just so overwhelmed with all the products I have yet to review so I'll offset slow and prioritize.
Today'southward review is the new-new Can't Stop Won't Stop concealer from NYX Cosmetics. NYX is 1 of my favorite drugstore brands—that should come as no daze because I tin't seem to shut up almost them—so I was stoked to have gotten this in my mail service box. I utilise their Hard disk Photogenic concealer near religiously and had no inkling that they had a new i, until at present.

Get-go things outset: size and price. I own 3 of their HD photogenic concealers and those go for $six for the SAME amount of production as these. But these are $2 more than? Why? Too looking like an upgrade of the Hard disk concealer, I was baffled that it's a bit more than on the expensive side for their concealers. All their concealers are $half-dozen or less, with the exception of their concealing palettes.
The packaging looks exactly the aforementioned equally the Hd Photogenic concealer and is slightly taller, enough to find but not much bigger. Visually, this 1 is much more appealing than the HD concealer, but is it improve or worse?
Formula & Awarding
Compared to the HD concealer, this 1 is a matte formula and it is also a muti-tasker. You can apply it to muffle imperfections, burnish up your face, or to profile. Since I only accept this one shade, I tin can only conceal my blemishes with information technology.
This one is apparently total coverage, I'll be sure to compare it to the HD concealer in merely a bit for you (since that's all I can truly compare information technology to). The shade I received was Soft Beige, which is a medium light with absurd undertones. I have warm undertones simply it seemed to exist okay for my skin tone.
The biggest trouble I take with the HD photogenic concealer is that they tend to oxidize so I started trying to get a shade or two lighter. I was hoping that this ane was better in that aspect.
Swatches
I was trying to take a photo to show the oxidation, but information technology was kind of hard. The left swatch was the first ane, and the right was 2nd.
Information technology's hard to tell, but there'south little to no oxidation from this concealer, which pleased me immensely. That means that the shades volition stay pretty shut to the shade they're supposed to be.
Comparing
Here are some comparison photos with the HD concealer so y'all tin can meet the packaging differences besides as the swatches themselves.
The HD concealer is light to medium coverage and this ane claims to exist full coverage, so I tested this out on my face on the same side, so you lot could approximate for yourself.

I don't know almost you, merely to me there was literally no difference in coverage. The near notable thing about the CSWS, is that information technology's matte. I've come to find that matte formulas but don't await skilful on my skin, peculiarly when I'k trying to cover blemishes with them. This one wasn't bad, and information technology would be covered by my foundation, but it's not something I can use on it'southward ain the way I utilise the Hd photogenic concealer from fourth dimension to time.

- Matte formula (for those with oily peel)
- Cruelty free brand
Cons:
- Same amount of product as HD concealer simply costs a bit more
- Matte formula (for those with dry out skin)
- No big difference from Hard disk drive photogenic concealer — roughly same coverage
It's not a bad product at all. The formula seems a flake improve in that it's creamier just it is too matte so that'southward another matter to consider. I'm not sure the cost tin be completely justified as I get the same results with their Hd photogenic concealer. I also don't agree entirely that it'southward full coverage because information technology didn't cover my blemishes completely, but it does requite medium to full coverage depending on how much you utilise.
Again, not a bad production. It'south skillful on its ain and I recall people with oily skin might benefit from this 1 due to the matte formula, but if you have normal/dry out/combo peel, I exercise recommend their HD photogenic concealer wand because yous'd get roughly the same results for a slightly cheaper toll.
